The WNC Nature Center has partnered with the WNC Farmers Market to create a new exhibit at its wildlife park. The Educational Farmers Market Garden will provide fresh produce for the animals in addition to educating the public about how agriculture and nature can have a sustainable relationship.
Prior to the Nature Center opening to the public, members of the press are invited to attend a special media event from 9 to 10 am on Wednesday, November 16.
Attendees will receive catered refreshments, a content-rich tour of the Nature Center where animals will receive enrichment provided by the Farmers Market, and a first look at the Educational Farmers Market Garden.
Opening remarks will be held at the Front Entrance of the WNC Nature Center at 9 am. An enrichment tour will follow, ending at the new Educational Farmers Market Garden.
